I’m Ms. Dhérby and trust me, I’ve been exactly where you are.
I graduated high school in 2011 and earned my college degree in elementary education by 2015. But between those years, I switched career paths three times. First I wanted to be a chef. Then a nurse. Then a teacher. Nobody told us in high school how to actually figure out what we’re good at, what we care about, or how to build a future that fits.
I had to figure it out the hard way and I know I’m not the only one.
That’s why I started teaching not just in the classroom, but beyond it. I created the Legacy Builders Summer School Program to give young people the kind of guidance I wish I had. We’re not just talking about jobs, we’re helping you uncover your strengths, explore options, and build skills that lead to ownership, confidence, and freedom.
